Red diesel should be available at most gas stations, however, if you get caught by the police when using it in a road vehicle, you can get in some serious trouble. Vegetable oil is very good, my grandfather uses it, and it seems to be just as good. I used to work on the mercedes turbo diesels, but it has to be in a good condition, a lot of times we had to replace all the fuel injectors on them and then it flew. but mercedes diesels are probably the best choice.
hahaha... a fast diesel.... i had a mercedes 240d for awhile, but sold it because it was seriously scary to drive... 0 to 60 in 5 minutes.. :)
