Also what is the best brand of 2 stroke oil to use ?I have just bought a 1965 lambretta li 150 what is the correct mixture of oil to prtrol ?
Back when the Lambretta was made (1965) the recommended mixture was 20 to 1 but as oils improved for two stroke mixtures and the oil companies came out with new synthetic oils the mixture ratios went to 40 to 1 and 50 to 1. look at the oil that you buy, it may tell you a suggested ratio. Certainly there is no need to use the old 20 to 1 ratio for the new oils.I have just bought a 1965 lambretta li 150 what is the correct mixture of oil to prtrol ?
