is that better or worse than allowing tobacco to kill 500,000 Americans each year so that we can collect taxes......what a great country eh?

What problem do you have with people making their own choices? As far as oil goes we could be pumping wells off Santa Barbara in a matter of a couple of months, the oil is there.Buying oil from countries who hate us, is that what our forefathers intended?
Our founding fathers probably wouldn't have a problem buying oil and other goods from other countries. They imported items just as much as we do now but in a smaller ratio of course.


Other governments don't like us because our government is always sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.


Let capitalism and democracy work it's way around the world naturally, keep our military here in the United States where it should be. Let the UN do their job.

Tobacco industry pays up pretty well to try to offset some of the damage smoking causes....and, though no one wants to think of it....just think how many baby boomers won't live long enough to collect much of their Social Security and/or other benefits....smoking will have killed them...
Clinton vetoed the ANWR drilling bill.... that oil would have been flowing 4 years ago.





Parasite Pelosi refuses to have drilling off shore, that oil would be flowing.

The Dept. of Energy was created during the Carter Admin. to ween us off foreign oil . Billions spent , thousands of employees ,decades later , how are they doing ? ?
Do not buy oil or gas if it offends you. It`s your choice to pay that voluntary tax or not.
Our forefathers could not anticipate the invention and complete dependency on automobiles.
Are there any country that does not hate us? We will die if we only buy things from those who like us.
