Because if we do that our economy will suffer, America hasn't played legitimate hard ball since world war two because we haven't had the capability to since world war two. When world war two happened we were still an isolationist country free of ';Foreign entanglements'; as George Washington suggested we should be when he gave his speech as he left office in 1789. We owed money to no foreign power so we had all the capitol and production of our goods happening in our own country so we had a hundred percent producing capability and profit. Now we get most of those materials from other countries, we couldn't even fight a war against Iran without their oil and OPEC's oil. With all the plastics China makes we use in our technology our country would not be what it is technologically today.
Basically our problem is we have become a bunch of cheap, lazy and unmotivated lards who are not willing to pay and work a bit harder for national preservation and patriotism, and instead the spoils go to our enemies.
Thus, America is a shithole.If Iran and China are so EVIL. Why are we still buying Oil and goods from them?
Because the unfortunate truth is that the big companies today will take the profit no matter what the cost. Take Wall Mart for example the executives tell their suppliers that if they want to sell their goods thought them then they better produce them cheap and the only way to that is take production overseas. Could these goods be produced in America by Americans, yes, would they be more expensive, yes, hence the problem. To many Americans talk non stop crap about how we should quit relying on foreign oil but go ballistic when gas prices rise. Although we have oil here its cheaper to import it and that's the problem, if you want domestic oil and American factories reopened then expect to pay higher costs.
Society would have to change as well. The average family can afford two or three cars because they generally are foreign cars. Americans buy so many unnecessary items because they are made cheaper overseas, that would change if items became domestically produced again.
They're only considered evil when they have a ton of oil. But when they have large quantities of sweatshops so little children can manufacture American goods for cheap prices, then it's okay. That's why. If it wasn't for China, Wal-Mart would be out of business.
Those Obama Inaugural commemorative plates said ';Made In China'; on them...
And we get the lions' share of our oil from Canada and Alaska, which is a dirty little secret the media doesn't want you to know, because it hurts their whole ';blood for oil'; myth.
Because our elected officials are just as bad.
No... we should drill for our own damn oil (we have plenty) and natural gas as well as coal. We should also start building nuclear power plants.
No... I paid for my computer. But, we should bring those jobs here and build them ourselves.
We are pumping our money into Iran and China because the environmentalist here stop every attempt to drill and use our own supply of oil and natural gas. They would much rather send the money to corrupt dictatorships than see an American blue collar worker get a job.
obama needs China to keep buying up our worthless Treasury notes, so he can keep spending like the drunken whore that he is!

It's always about the money man! If you can't take them over I suppose just do business with them :-)
