What engine oil do i need for the secondhand toyota supra 1995 i just bought?

The recommended oil for your car is grade 10W/30 classification SH/A2-96 or alternatively grade 10W/40 classification SH/A2-96What engine oil do i need for the secondhand toyota supra 1995 i just bought?
I would go with 10W-30....but make sure to get a professional opinion first. What engine oil do i need for the secondhand toyota supra 1995 i just bought?
Go with 10w30 Mobil 1. That engine beats up oil pretty hard and you need the good stuff.
If by chance the owners manual is there...use what it reccomends...if it says 5w30 then use that...if it says 10w-30 then use that. Even though some manufacturers reccomend 5w-30 I have never seen 10w-30 hurt an engine.

the 5w and the 10w is what the engine oil is when it is cold...it all breaks down to 30 weight once warm...hence the ?w-30.

5w-30 is better in cold climates as it is thinner at start up allowing the engine to turn over easier...if you live in a warm climate...the 10w-30 should be just fine.
mobil one 0w-40 .... trust me ... i have a 2004 dodge srt-4 with some rather major mods, and that's all i run in it and i am pushing 400whp ..... can't go wrong with that
Good Car, Nice Year

Turbo or naturally aspirated that motor was probably ragged on pretty hard being a Supra. I would switch to a synthetic oil. Mobil 1 10w-30 should be fine.
