Would I need electric or gas powered? I got some tough stains on my driveway street area's that I want to clean up. My car USED to leak oil and I hate the oil stains onb the ground...They are kind of OLD stains and I tried all types of chemicals already to clean them but they didn't completely work. I want to try a pressure washer / cleaner now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! What brand and type and power level of pressure washer should I buy to clean OIL Stains off the driveway?
When you get one buy a Grenade Tip for it, this concentrated,pin-point,swirling,water stream, doubles the cleaning power of your machine. I gave thumbs-up for f100's steam answer. What brand and type and power level of pressure washer should I buy to clean OIL Stains off the driveway?
I bought a 2200 psi pressure washer a couple of years ago and I sure wish I had bought a more powerful one. I use it mostly to clean my deck and driveway.
Mine is a TroyBilt, but I don't think brand matters much.
I would suggest at least a 2800 psi or even higher.
Definitely get a gas one.
The electric ones are for girls.
BETTER idea is to RENT a true steam cleaner.
Water alone, even with detergent, will NOT remove oil stains well from a porous surface like concrete.
AFTER cleaning, let dry, and then seal the concrete.
think your gonna have a bit of trouble getting out old stains out another option for you and a bit cheaper than a 1000 to 2000 dollar pressure washer would be to top coat the concrete with a product similar to whats in the links below
