I assume you mean a barrel of oil . . I would assume it would be no different than buying commodities you'd need to have a commodities broker purchase for you
why? you would have to refine it into gasoline and do all sorts of stuff. it is useless straight from the barrel unless you are stockpiling them for some odd reason. I would rather buy solar panels and get myself off of the grid
