Any time anyone uses oxygen, they should be using water-based solutions (i.e. lubes, lotions, make-up); and shouldn't smoke around the tank. The reason is that oxygen feeds fire, so if you happen to be have on oil-based stuff or smoking around the tank you could easily perpetuate the fire.

I'm a nurse. You can talk to your local pharmacist for suggestions on makeup. Also I would call back to the clinic and get some ideas. All clinics have information and websites on all types of things for patients. I hope this is useful to you.
I'm sure any of your cosmetics counters and lead you to oil-free makeup. You doctor is right, you should not mix oil or any petroleum products (i.e. Vaseline) with oxygen because oxygen is combustible.
