What are you using it for? 2-3 times a day is more than enough. Night time just before bed is going to be best since that is when your body does most of its healing. How do we use the ';tree tea oil'; bought from www.thebodyshop.com?
Tea tree oil is a quadrant: antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial and antimicrobial. it is good for many things, but should be used for only a few full strength, such as on your toes and heels to cure athletes foot and nail fungus. It will take as long as it takes for your nail to grow from under the cuticle to being completely cut off, so expect it to take as much as 8 months to a year for toenails...It should Never be used full strength around eyes...I once had a newbie at a beauty college put it on my eyebrows after a waxing....wrong. it should be diluted, if for skin use, preferably in Jojoba oil, as it is most like your skins natural oil and cleans the sebaceous glands in each hair follicle, so unlike most other oils, it won't clog pores causing additional problems. As for the tea tree oil, we once cured the fungus infection on a Pygmy goats head by her horns with only one application, it had begun to cover the top of her head and wrap around from horn to horn, we could only catch her the once, but after several weeks we could see no more hairless thick patch.

if you look in a health food store you will find it in all sorts of oral products....tooth paste, dental floss, mouthwash, antiseptic ointments and the like, it is almost always diluted. when in doubt, consult a specialist.
I would think twice a day, morning and evening would suffice. Cleansing a whole nights oils and dirt in the morning and cleansing a whole day of the same in the evening sounds good.

It has an astringent and a mild antibacterial quality to prevent breakouts and smooth skin.
tea tree oil can be used for a few things. So it depends on what your doing with it. The body shop must have a number you can call to ask for advice on it...or any natural health store might be able to help.
It depends what you are using the oil for. It can be used in one of three ways.

Topically. Oil is placed on the skin. Morning and evening. Do not use near the eyes and do not use on infants skin.

Oral Rinse. Dilute a few drops in water, gargle and spit out. Uses for gingivitis, toothaches or tooth infections, and sore throat.

Inhaler. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to a mister or steamer. You can also put a few drops on a tissue and smell it.

Also makes a good disinfectant for washing clothes. Add 5 to 10 drops in your washing machine with each load of laundry.

Is a super disinfectant.

Hope this has been of help to you.
