You need the valve cover gasket it comes with the o rings that fit around the cover and plug so oil will not seep in to the plug area. Common problem with cars that have a fair amount of mileage.Need advice on what to buy for my oil problem [gasket]!!?
For sure a head gasket. Valve cover gaskets just make sure no oil leaks pass the valve covers and runs down your engine and gets on your manifolds. Also if your head gasket is going bad then it will be blowing white smoke and running a little warmer than it usually does. Better get it fixed soon.
Is this the Honda 2.2 liter??? What kind of car is this????? You probably just need to tighten your valve cover gasket. You don't need a head gasket unless you are cross mixing oil and water or have compression woes. Good Luck!!
valve cover gasket is the one you need. the head gasket is a huge and lengthy repair
